"Esequiel, Montay, Shippo & Josesito 5: Future Takeover" is the thirty-five episode of Happy Peep written by MarioFan65 and directed by Penguin-Lover. This episode feature a dimension travel adventure with Esequiel and friends going to many penguin worlds since "Tickle Torment Future" and its sequel "Tickle Torment Future 2: Stuck in Prehistory". This episode is a sequel to "Esequiel, Montay, Shippo & Josesito 4: Into the Internet World".

"Esequiel, Montay, Shippo & Josesito 5: Future Takeover" take place where the fourth one left off and the timeline take place before the Season 4 episodes "The Candy Boy", "LOLZ Raul", "Buckalow", and "Five Nights at Ramón's 2". The episode also take place before the spin-off series The Esequiel, Montay, Shippo & Josesito Show.
This mark the first appearance of the shards. The shards would later happen in future MarioFan65's stories in fact Happy Peep is connected to the Crossover Omniverse Saga where various crossover stories like Club Penguin And Happy Feet The Crossover were set in.
- The shards' master Feather God appear as a shadowy figure in a smoke in The Esequiel, Montay, Shippo & Josesito Show episode "Wrath of Vincentine". Feather God and the shards would later made their full appearance in Club Penguin And Happy Feet: The Rise of Protobot.
Vibuu cameo in this episode before Josesito kills him and destroy the lair.
This is the third episode to be a prequel after "The Story of Esequiel the Tickle Inventor" and the beginning of "The Cape Adare BBQ".
The time travel theme for this episode is "Squeeze Me" by N.E.R.D. which was also used in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
The title card is similar to the first sequel "Esequiel, Montay, Shippo & Josesito 2: Darktisk's Fury".
This is the last "Esequiel, Montay, Shippo & Josesito" installment to use the original logo.
